What's on my mind right now??? You don't even wanna know... which is exactly why I'm going to share it with you...
-I'm really not good at blogging and I think I like changing the background on my blog more than posting haha.
-I wish Jamie didn't have to go to work and we could just play all day like it was after he broke his back.
-I want a puppy, or a baby.... I haven't decided which one yet... lol
-I only have ONE MORE TEST in nursing school and then I take my final! Somebody pinch me! I hope I pass!!!!!!
-I should be studying for that test right now instead of blogging.
-My psych teacher is cRaZy! (excuse the insensitve terminology) She is really nice but she is driving me insane!!
-I'm getting pretty tired of studying psych stuff... I've already diagnosed myself and pple around me with a ton of different mental conditions.
-I had the pleasure of attending my first AA meeting this week (Alcoholics Anonymous)... the first step to recovery is admittance, so... JK,JK! Don't worrry, I just had to attend for school. This was an incredible experience for me! It was so sad to see how horrible addictions are and how they affect everyone involved. To me, the Words of Wisdom just seem like common sense, but I really take forgranted how grateful I am to have counsel straight from Heavenly Father to stay away from certain substances. He knows how horrible and debilitating addiction is and He doesn't want us to go through that. I was very surprised to see that the 12 steps in the AA meeting involve God. Can you believe it?!?! Hmmm... what a grand idea... that God can actually help us... So it was very refreshing hearing all these people that were hurting from past or present choices talking about how they found God and religion. It was weird though because even though many people were talking about God I sensed that they were still searching for truth. It's kind of an empty feeling. I know because that's how I felt before I joined the church and I could sense that same feeling in that meeting and I didn't like it. I went to the temple afterwards and I was trying not to cry just even walking through the halls. It's good to be reminded how grateful I am for truth and to never take forgranted being worthy to enter the temple because nothing can compare to the feelings you have just being in the House of the Lord.

You may have already seen this...
But just in case you didn't... this is what happens when I go to the desert with Jamie and Nick...
Good thing Nick moved to South Carolina to be in the Navy and he won't be around to blow up any of our other vehicles. Haha jk jk We love Nick! Jamie and Nick had been working on Jamie's parent's old dune buggy in our garage for a couple of months and they were SO excited to get it running. They both even had dreams about it haha! So they finally got it running well enough to take it out to the desert for a test run ( and when I say well enough I mean they were able to make sure it had enough power to drive up our driveway... seriously). So we get out to the desert, unload it off the trailer, drive through a mud puddle, try to make it up a dinky hill = fail, and then we start heading down this wash to go to the river. Luckily, I was standing the back by the engine (we hadn't put the back seat in yet) when I started feeling something really hot and when I turned around I saw flames. So we bailed, ran far away from it, cried cuz there was nothing we could do, realized we had just topped the tank off with 7 gallons of gas, ran a lot further to get out of the wash, and all of a sudden BOOM.
But on the plus side...
-we got to take a walk of shame back to the truck that brought us all closer together helicopters didn't come after seeing the explosion
if I wouldn't have been in the back Jamie and nick wouldn't have felt the flame till it was too late,
the cops that came to see if we were ok didn't give us a ticket
-We didn't have Jamie's whole family with us with little kids riding on it
-AND it was a pretty cool explosion
So finally, three hours later, we had the fried dune buggy towed all the way out of the desert and it is now resting peacefully in our backyard. THE END.
RIP dune buggy :(

My new favorite song!
Reasons why this is officially my new favorite song ever:
1. It's country!
2. I love country!
and 3. just because it's amazing!
I wish this song was around when we got married cuz I totally would've made this our wedding song! Lately I've been feeling really discouraged, stressed out, and overwhelmed because of school but Jamie is always there for me reassuring me and making me feel better. This is why Heavenly Father invented boyfriends (aka spouses, honeys, babes, dears and husbands). He knew that when life gets hard and stressful we would need a best friend that we could always count on no matter what!

I'm posting....
This is my first time posting and knowing that real people (that I know) might actually be reading this. It's kinda scary, I'm not gonna lie. But I'm really excited right now so that is why I am overcoming this fear lol...
Have you ever wanted something really really bad for a really really long time and once it comes you get really nervous cuz you didn't think this day would ever come?? It's kind of like how I've wanted a Barbie Jeep my whole life.... ok kinda not but I just thought that I would throw that out there in the open haha. Well... that's how I feel about becoming a nurse! I've known that I wanted to be a nurse ever since I was little. I feel like it's always been my goal and now that I'm getting so close to finishing I'm getting really anxious! I just found out that I get to do my preceptorship in Labor and delivery & postpartum at Banner Gateway! I am so excited!! This is going to be an amazing opportunity because it is very. very. difficult to get a job in OB cuz everyone wants to be there! And who wouldn't?? For the most part it's a pretty happy place. So this could be my only chance to be there! Cool huh?! And if all goes right (everyone cross your fingers and squeeze your eyes really tight so that I pass block 4 :) hehe) then I should be graduating May 13th, and taking my nursing boards (everyone repeat that last step so that I pass my NCLEX) soon after that! Then comes applying for jobs... duh duh duh!!! Long story short.... I have a pretty exciting/busy/stressful next few months! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that for my preceptorship I will be working nights...... and I'm not going to be cheesy and I'm not going to say that I'm really not looking forward to sleeping without my husband but...... I am REALLYY not looking forward to sleeping without my husband! :( Last time I did that was when Jamie got in his accident and that was THEE most horrible experience ever! So now I'm really scared to sleep without him. I'm not a baby!! The end... blog novel over...

Weird!
So I was stalking my own pictures the other day on facebook... (Yes, it was an all time low for me) and I thought to myself, "Hmmm I wonder if people think we're weird?"...
And then I saw this picture and thought, "Oh yeah, we are weird.... he he :) "
As manifested by the picture, it's easy to see that I am the sane one in this relationship.... hahaha! On another interesting note... I bought a TON of produce at Sprout's today and it was super cheap!! I'm pretty sure that I will be adding Sprout's to my weekly shopping route, right after Fry's that is! Wow... since when did I get put in charge of grocery shopping?! Isn't my mom supposed to do the grocery shopping, I'm still a little kid!? Weird!!
All the good bloggers post lots of cutesy pics :)
